Dogs We Welcome

All breeds are welcome at Keystone K9. While working breeds and high-drive dogs are our passion, our structured boarding environment is open to pet dogs of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds.

We understand that not every dog thrives in a traditional boarding or daycare environment. Dogs who are energetic, intense, selective with other dogs, environmentally sensitive, or who simply prefer their own space may do very well with our individualized, structured approach.

We are also comfortable evaluating dogs with behavioral challenges, including reactivity. Behavioral concerns do not automatically disqualify a dog from boarding with us. Each dog is evaluated individually based on our ability to safely and appropriately meet their needs.

For the safety of the dogs in our care and our handlers, we may decline dogs whose behavior or management requirements exceed what we can safely accommodate. This may include dogs displaying severe or unpredictable human-directed aggression, dogs that cannot be safely handled or contained, or dogs with medical or behavioral needs requiring a level of supervision beyond the scope of our boarding services.

Acceptance is determined on an individual basis following the required boarding evaluation. Keystone K9 reserves the right to decline or discontinue boarding services at our discretion when we believe we cannot safely or appropriately accommodate a dog.
